Michèle's expertise as a multilingual senior level journalist and corporate communications consultant spans more than 30 years.
As President of her own firm, Tremblay Guittet Communications Inc., she offers strategic communications advice to a broad base of clientele in the private and public sectors, including key political players. She is an expert in crisis management.
Prior to establishing her company, Michèle served as Senior Political Advisor to the Right Honourable John N. Turner.
Her extensive experience in journalism includes being the first female columnist at the National press Gallery, opening the first Ottawa Bureau for the Journal de Montréal, and operating it as Bureau Chief and Parliamentary Columnist for many years. During her tenure in this posting, she also was a well respected Political Analyst, appearing as panelist in various television programs in English and French, and notably a daily political commentary segment on CBOF Radio.
Before moving to Ottawa, she worked from Montréal as journalist for the Journal de Montréal, assigned to Political Affairs and Labour Relations. She also worked as a Freelance Journalist and Researcher for various other media, including Quebecor, TVA and Radio-Canada.
Michèle also served as a director of the National Press Gallery, the National Press Club, The Quebec Federation of Journalists and a member of the Canadian Centre for Investigative Journalism.
